The New EU Data Protection Paradigm
Why U.S. Companies Need to Understand Privacy Rights under the New EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”)
Please join us for a discussion that walks through GDPR compliance for U.S.-based companies. The program will analyze the impact on U.S.-based companies and the steps needed to comply with the GDPR. Passport to Exports is part of a regional Atlanta Metro Export Plan to help companies grow through international sales of their products and services.
With 95 percent of the world’s consumers located outside the United States, the global potential for metro Atlanta companies is tremendous. Passport to Exports is designed to answer some basic questions that business executives may have about going global. It is an informal and candid round table discussion between experienced exporters and export-curious companies.
Each program is facilitated by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), and the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), and other regional and local economic development organizations. Space is limited.
The match begins at 2, but feel free to join us beginning at 1pm for refreshments and pre-game networking! We’ll have a raffle, as well as a nice crowd of friends and strangers, so bring a stack of business cards! The Metro Atlanta Chamber will be sponsoring your first drink and some light appetizers will be provided as well.
